The key responsibility of the brewer is to oversee the brewing process.
They will ensure the brew recipe is being followed accordingly,
accurately and consistently and the beer is stored correctly.
Our equipment includes 30bbl HLT, 20bbl Mash Lauter Tun, 15bbl boil kettle,
90bbl of fermentation capacity, 15bbl Brite tank, grain silo.
Other equipment are propane powered heater, a three-head Cask canning line,
pallet jack lift, forklift, large fridge, and labels printer.
Education and/or experience in the Brewing field considered an asset.
Some mechanical knowledge and familiarity with brewing components.
Commitment to communication, hard work, honesty, and a positive attitude.
Self-directed with strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Product knowledge is an asset.
Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
Wort production in our brewery
CIP of brewery, fermentation, and brite tanks
Prepare, mill in grains, and weigh out hops for brewing
Cellar operations including yeast handling and pitching, dry hopping, general cleaning and sanitation
Transfer beer to and from fermentation tanks, brite tanks, kegs
Assist with packaging beer as needed on canning days or shipping
Knowledge of industrial controls and instrumentations
